As we all can’t pop over to Munich for Oktoberfest celebrations, we’re bringing the festivities to you on Oktober 5; with an automotive twist.
The Biergarten will be open for business! We’ll have a delicious spread of traditional German fayre and plenty of Oktoberfest beer from one of the oldest breweries in Munich. We’ll be offering special pricing on Oktoberfest beer. Five tickets for the price of four. Available for purchase on the night.
Our menu will feature Bratwurst & Knockwurst Sliders, German Potato Salad, “Koningsberger Klopse” meatballs, Bavarian Pretzels, wonderful desserts, and much more.
To add to the festivities we’re kicking off our quarterly speaker series with Ramsey Potts, Car Specialist at RM Sotheby’s.
Special Guest Speaker: Ramsey Potts
Curious about the auction market? We have invited Ramsey Potts to be our inaugural guest speaker. Ramsey is well known in the auction world, serving RM Sotheby’s clients in their search for that special automobile. This evening he’ll be sharing his knowledge on seeking out your dream car and the process to follow as you participate in the bidding.
Ramsey Potts, an RM/Sotheby’s Specialist since early 2017, holds a Diploma in Automotive Service and an ASE Technician Certification from Vale Technical Institute.
While earning his bachelor’s degree, he worked as a mechanic in a BOSCH Service Center, where he was also on the crew supporting customers’; sports car racing efforts. Ramsey then moved on to a 25-year career in the financial services industry.
However, during those years he maintained his connection to the collector car hobby as a consultant for friends and colleagues, purchasing, maintaining, and selling collector cars, both via auction and private sale. Ramsey specializes in European marques, with an emphasis on Post-War Sports and GT cars, having owned and maintained numerous examples. A true enthusiast, Ramsey is a member of several European Marque car clubs and has raced Porsches, BMWs, and Mazdas on the SCCA and Grand-Am circuits.
